If you have fitted a decent size suspension lift, performed an engine swap, stretched your wheelbase or just have plenty of suspension travel, chances are your going to need to lengthen your drive shaft.

The good news is that you can resolve this issue without having to fork out hundreds for a custom made tail shaft. The answer is a Snake Racing Tail Shaft Spacer.These spacers simply fit between the mounting flange and the tail shaft, which restores lost spline contact by taking up the gap in the slip joint.

A typical 4x4 drive shaft only has a certain amount of travel in its slip joint, and by lifting the vehicle you are using up some of that critical spline travel. In fact, under some extreme articulation situations, a tail shaft can come apart!
