If you're running the late model 4L60E automatic transmission with electronic overdrive, you require 2 adaptors to mate to a Atlas transfer case.

this adapter in addition to the 'TH700 4 Bolt - Atlas Adapter Kit' (Part #ATSA7004B) to convert the 6 bolt tail housing of the 4L60E, to the 4 Bolt Atlas Adapter.

The adapter length is 1.50” and when bolted on to the 4L60E, the overall length of the transmission is 23.375”. Adapter material is 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy. The adapter kit includes an adapter housing, GM VSS sensor, clamp-on reluctor ring, fastening hardware and adapter instructions.

Note; Factory TH700 main shaft must be changed to Part #ATSMS700 to use this kit.
