When fitting Snake X Over steering to a Hilux / 4 Runner with a V6 or V8 engine it may be necessary to also use a dropped pitman arm.
With the bigger engine having a larger forward pick up sump than the factory engine it may cause clearance issues for the drag link to work properly when the suspension is at full compression.
